A clever idea

Cot bumpers are a big NO these days due to safety reasons and links with SIDS. The little linen company has designed a cot bumper called the Airwrap. The Airwrap is different to traditional cot bumpers as it has a breathable mesh fabric allowing a good airflow in your baby's cot. It is also made from a thin collapsible fabric ensuring the bumper can not be used as a leverage to climb out of the cot. RRP is $49.95. I am not a fan of bumpers but this is a clever idea.

Wonderful Wraps

If you have a new born or are about to welcome a new arrival into the family then L'il Frazer wraps are a must. What I love most about them is their generous size 120cm x 120cm giving you a good amount of fabric to wrap your baby up snugly, and if you have a bigger baby they are a perfect size for them too. I also love that they are 100% cotton, stretchy and soft.

Russell Crowe still loves his Mountain Buggy

Russell Crowe and wife Danielle went for a stroll near their Woolloomoolloo home recently pushing 3 year old son Charles in his Mountain buggy. They seem to love the Mountain Buggy as they have had it since son Charles was a baby and are still using it. They have been pictured with many prams but this is the one I have seen them using the most. I agree Russell it is a great buggy!
New - Bugaboo Bee!

I have heard that Bugaboo is going to be introducing a new model late this year. Bugaboo fans I cant tell you much (as I don’t know) however I did come across this pic of a new Bugaboo that will be available overseas and I wonder if this is it... I will keep you posted.
The Bugaboo Bee is Bugaboos first lightweight stroller and it is more compact than its current models.

New Topping Fabrics for the Bugaboo
In June / July this year Bugaboo is due to launch in Australia a new topping fabric in 9 colours. I am really glad about this as the current fleece isn’t perfect for the Australian climate. The new fabrics will be a regular product line and the fabric will also be introduced to the breezy. I do not have any pictures of this yet but when I do you can be sure it will be posted on this site.
Jolly Bear High Chairs

I was visiting a friend who has a young child and she had just bought this Jolly Bear ‘baby bear’ range of high chair. It is a similar concept to the Stokke Tripp Trapp but the teddy bear one includes a tray! That is one thing that put me off the tripp trapp was no tray. I agree it is nice to have your child eating at the table with you (stokes reason for not including a tray), however sometimes you need a tray, and at last here it is. The pricing is good too $99.95 for the baby bear and $129.95 for the teddy bear, extra for the cushion.

Double Decker Cribs

I kid you not! I came across this on an international web site and they are not available in Australia. They were made with multiples in mind and advertise it is a unique way to maximise space in your nursery. I’m not sure about this idea - one baby is up high while the other is low to the ground. One baby sees your face while the other sees your knees…. And don’t get me started on the safety aspects!

Balmoral Pram from Silver Cross

Used by the royal family, Brad and Angelina and Britney to name only a few. If you want to stand out in a crown with your baby then this pram is for you. Combining stately elegance and noble good looks the Balmoral is a masterpiece of pram engineering. It is entirely hand made. Suitable for babies from birth, the navy Balmoral comes with changing bag, chrome shopping tray, and quilted mattress. It retails for $3499.
Keep in mind it is over 4 feet long and doesn’t fold and it weighs a lot. It is not for quick trips to the shopping centre but will give your baby the cushiest ride ever!

The Potty Bench

The Boon potty bench is due to be in stores about July this year and the RRP will be $69.95. The concept is great and it looks kind of funky (for a potty!). I also like that it becomes a step as well. However not everyone has a lot of space in their bathroom, so keep this in mind. Cleaning potties can be a yuck job (even the simplest of potties). With this potty you would need to clean the bench, lid, toilet holder drawers. Maybe using a toilet seat is the way to go?

A wonderful service for expectant Dads. Beer and Bubs is a child birth support partner workshop especially for Dads. They are held once every 2 months at the Greengate Hotel in Killara. Dads learn how to be the best child birth support partner they can be and they get to hear from other Dads that have been there before. The workshop is $50 per head and is presented in a relaxed atmosphere and includes a pub dinner.

If you want a nappy bag that is stylish and yet suits your needs to carry all of the items you require for your baby, this stylish Jooki bag (Talissa shown) is worth a look. It is made from soft leather, has an adjustable shoulder strap and the front flap has a magnetic snap closure. I love the tassels on it.
