Chemical Alert for Babies

Be very aware of the lotions you are using in your baby bath and putting on their skin. This is the latest warning in an interesting article in the Sun Herald today

Parents are warned to reduce the use of talcum powder, shampoo and lotions after a study that linked them to high levels of hormone-altering chemicals in infants.

The main culprit is the concentration of phthalates, which is a man made chemicals that affect the development of the reproductive system.
